Customer Service Manager
Up to £40k per annum, dependant on experience
Monday – Friday / 9am – 5pm

Our client based in Wrexham area is looking to recruit a Customer Service Manager on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Customer Service Manager will be central to providing excellent Customer Service to our client’s UK and export customers.The role will support order processing, stock management and logistics by working across EDI, web-based orders to ensure customers receive their orders when required.
Performance Objectives
·Order Processing & Customer Support
oDownload and process orders from EDI, web platforms, and email.
oBook transport and delivery slots via portals or email.
oLiaise with customers regarding shortages, substitutions, or refunds.
oHandle queries from new and existing customers across multiple inboxes.
oRaise credits and sample requests where needed.
·Stock & System Updates
oCheck stock availability and work with Production Planning Team and Production Team to resolve shortages.
oUpdate stock sheets weekly and attend monthly stock meetings.
oMaintain customer portals with product details, delivery dates, and forecasts.
oProcess goods-in confirmations and book into Navision once stock arrives.
·Export & Documentation
oProcess export orders and manage call-offs with third-party warehouses.
oPrepare and send export paperwork (commercial invoices, certificates, etc.).
oEnsure all international requirements and formats are up to date.
oSend product photos and updates to customers when required.
·Forecasting & Admin
oUpdate and send monthly forecast templates to customers.
oInput forecasts into Navision and liaise with production on any changes.
oFile PODs and paperwork for audit and customer access.
oOrder office supplies and support general admin tasks.
Person Specification
·Prior experience in a Customer Service, Sales Administration or Supply Chain role, preferably within a Food Manufacturing Environment.
·Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel.Experience of Navision or similar ERP system preferred.
·Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
·Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
·Ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
·Self-motivated and proactive approach.
