About The Role
These are exciting times at ARAG as we're going through a period of positive change and sustained growth across our friendly and high-performing teams. As a result, we are now looking for someone to join us as an HR Administrator.
About the role:
In this role you'll play a key part in supporting our highly collaborative HR team (circa 30 employees), by providing generalist administrative support across all areas of HR.
Reporting to the Head of People Shared Services, you'll be an approachable first point of contact for managers and employees for a wide variety of general HR enquiries, and you'll work collaboratively with our other teams within HR (Recruitment, Learning & Development, Reward & Payroll) to ensure that a coordinated and high standard of HR service is provided across ARAG UK.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Producing employee letters - new starter paperwork, offer letters, employment contracts, changes of terms and employee references.
* Responsibility for the new starters, leavers and internal movers' process.
* Data entry of confidential employee information into our HR system (HRIS).
* Managing the HR email Inbox and ticketing system and directing enquiries to the relevant teams.
* Maintaining accurate employee records for Payroll and managing the employee files.
* Analysis and production of various (basic) HR reports using our HRIS.
* Working to ensure that best practice HR solutions are followed, escalating any risk issues through the HR Advisors and/or HR Business Partners.
This a hybrid role (full-time or part-time), based at our newly refurbished, modern Bristol City Centre office (only a 5-minute walk from Temple Meads station). About You
We are keen to hear from you if you have some HR previous administration experience, attention to detail and high levels of discretion. In addition, you'll be able to demonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to organise effectively whilst managing multiple priorities.
You'll also demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, relationship building and stakeholder management and you'll be able to work at pace whilst maintaining a high-quality output.
Other key candidate requirements are:
* Able to manage highly sensitive information and data whilst maintaining strict confidentiality.
* Passionate about delivering the highest possible standards of HR service to managers and employees with a positive and flexible 'can do' attitude.
* A good working knowledge of HR processes and practices.
* Comfortable adapting to evolving processes and methods, and willing to offer ideas on how we can improve how we do things and the employee experience.
