The Role
As a Revenue Controller, you'll play a vital role in managing Working Capital and reducing lock‑up within our Casualty Practice. You'll own a busy WIP portfolio, ensuring billing, write‑offs and cash targets are achieved while building trusted relationships with Partners and Case Handlers in a fast‑paced team environment.
The Team
Our Manchester Working Capital team provides specialist support across all areas of WIP management. We work closely with fee earners and the wider Finance function to drive best practice, reduce lock‑up and deliver a client-focused, efficient billing service.
Essential Skills & Experience
Legal Finance & Technical Expertise
* Experience working within a legal finance or legal environment
* Proven experience managing WIP, billing and lock‑up in a high‑volume setting
* Knowledge of apportionment (multi‑party matters), net recovery and joint billing
Systems, Data & Compliance
* Experience of Elite 3E (preferred)
* Electronic Billing experience (advantageous; training provided)
* Strong understanding of VAT regulations relating to solicitor client billing
* Understanding of foreign currency considerations
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with strong numeracy
