Kids Planet is an independent, family‑run group of nurseries providing high‑standard care across the UK. We are looking for a Nursery Cook to work Monday‑to‑Friday, with no weekend or bank holiday duties, creating healthy meals and supporting children’s nutrition.
Responsibilities
* Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary requirements and allergy guidelines.
* Ensure all food is prepared safely, meeting environmental health standards.
* Maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
* Collaborate with children and nursery staff in snack‑making and baking activities.
* Adapt menus and cooking techniques to support special dietary needs.
Qualifications
* Catering experience, preferably in a nursery or early‑years setting.
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Knowledge of preparing food for special dietary and allergy requirements.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Safeguarding and Training
All staff will receive safeguarding training and a DBS check (enhanced). Regular training is required to maintain safeguarding duties.
