Building strong, effective relationships with clients and their advisors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Championing the clients values and policies across sustainability, health & safety, quality, environment, and team development.
Applying and maintaining compliance with the company's Business Management System.
Taking a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the project lifecycle.
Leading and mentoring junior team members, including conducting annual appraisals and supporting their development.
Ensuring all works meet contract specifications and drawings, with accurate records maintained to demonstrate compliance.
Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role. Requirements of a Site Manager
Solid technical knowledge and experience working with main contractors.
A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant construction discipline - essential.
Completion of Safety Level 1 and SMSTS courses.
Valid CSCS card.
Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor - essential.
Background as a Graduate or Trainee Site Engineer.
Strong commercial and financial awareness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with various contract types, including NEC and JCT.
