Responsibilities
* Drive a team to deliver personable, polite and prompt service in the checkout area
* Act as a role model displaying exceptional service to customers
* Be highly visible and approachable to customers and colleagues
* Coach colleagues to demonstrate the appropriate skills and knowledge in the checkout area
* Ensure compliance with stock control procedures within the appropriate timelines
* Ensure company property, cash and stock are secure at all times
* Contribute to making the store a positive, engaging place to work
Qualifications and Ideal Profile
* Experience of managing a small team in a fast-paced retail environment
* Strong numerical and problem solving skills
* A flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude
* The ability to think on your feet
