Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of weekend cook. This position involves preparing and serving good quality food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a passion for food, an eye for food safety, and experience working within a restaurant or catering setting.
Responsibilities
* Preparing a variety of food from morning breakfast, soup, and ciabattas to roast lunch and food for functions
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area according to food safety regulations
* Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles
* Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
* Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is desirable
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
* A genuine passion for food

Pay: From £15,974.39 per year
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
