Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP) Guilford Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Full Time | Up to £47,000 per annum depending on experience | 37.5 hours per week

About us
Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare, working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions, including complex surgery. We are proud to have received a good rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our facilities include 49 en-suite bedrooms and 4 operating theatres. We are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre. The site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, providing access to additional facilities.
Key responsibilities
* Prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
* Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff in full compliance with all policies and procedures.
* Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards (e.g., CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards and evidence-based guidelines).
* Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion, and support them emotionally with their care, treatment or condition.
* Collaborate with other clinicians within the hospital to build strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
* Take charge of a theatre, coordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.
Job responsibilities
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at Guilford Hospital, you will be registered with the appropriate governing body (including HCPC registration) and bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You are a focused, flexible and motivated team worker. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:

* Registration with the appropriate governing body (including HCPC) and relevant qualifications and experience for a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP).

* Demonstrated passion for high standards in perioperative care, meticulous attention to detail and post-registration experience. A focused, flexible and motivated team worker.
