Freelance Site Manager – Modular Healthcare Project Edmonton, North London Up to £320 per day (CIS) Start: ASAP Duration: Until October 2026 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support the delivery of a modular construction programme on a live hospital estate in Edmonton. This opportunity is with a major UK engineering and facilities services provider delivering infrastructure, construction, and technical services across large public sector estates. They are currently delivering a programme of modular builds within a healthcare environment and require an experienced Site Manager to take day-to-day responsibility on site. This is a long-term freelance role running through to October 2026, offering continuity of work and the opportunity to play a key role on a complex healthcare project. Key Responsibilities * Managing day-to-day site operations on a modular build programme within a hospital environment * Coordinating subcontractors and modular installation teams * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification * Managing site logistics within a live healthcare environment * Reviewing and implementing RAMS, permits to work and site safety procedures * Liaising with the client, project management team and hospital stakeholders * Overseeing quality control and ensuring works meet compliance requirements * Maintaining accurate site records, reporting and programme updates Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager on modular construction projects * Previous experience working within hospital / healthcare environments * Strong understanding of working within live operational estates * SMSTS * CSCS Managers Card * First Aid at Work * Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills The Opportunity * Long-term freelance position through to October 2026 * Work on a large healthcare estate project * Join a well-established engineering and infrastructure organisation delivering major public sector programmes If you have experience delivering modular builds within healthcare environments and are available to start immediately, we would be keen to speak with you.
