We’re looking for a capable and people-focused Catering Manager to oversee two busy catering sites – one in Cheltenham and one in Gloucester. This is a great role for someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership, and knows how to keep both clients and teams happy.
Start date is August, but we’re willing to pay the right person a month in advance to secure them during their notice period.
What you’ll be doing:
Day-to-day management of both sites, ensuring smooth service and high standards
Building great relationships with clients – you’ll be their go-to contact
Overseeing all ordering of food, sundries and supplies
Supporting and communicating with teams at both sites – a real presence on the ground
Being hands-on when needed – this isn’t a desk-only role. If someone’s off sick, you may need to roll up your sleeves and help out in the kitchen
Taking ownership of standards, service and customer satisfaction
What we’re looking for:
A confident manager with experience running catering operations across more than one site (or ready to step up)
Comfortable with ordering, stock, rotas, and basic kitchen systems
Personable, professional, and great with clients and customers
Hands-on, positive and a real team leader – someone who leads by example
Happy to travel between Cheltenham and Gloucester (mileage covered if applicable)
What’s in it for you:
£30,000 – £36,000 salary, depending on experience
Monday to Friday core hours (some flexibility required)
