SITE MANAGER – CIVIL ENGINEERING
OXFORDSHIRE
We are delighted to have recently been awarded a new contract to deliver a large civil engineering contract in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The project is a £28m design and build substation upgrade over a 24-month duration and includes the construction of 3 No. transformer bays/new GIS building and other civil works comprising RC structures, roads, drainage, paving, steel frame and exterior cladding.
We are open to receiving applications from individuals seeking either permanent employment or temporary work.
Reporting to a Project Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Managing a site team
• Management of subcontractors
• Delivering works, always ensuring the highest level of safety
• Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
• Writing & reviewing RAMS
• Client interface
• Progress reporting
• Check and sign off Temporary works
Qualifications/background:
* Civil Engineering background – essential
* SMSTS – essential
* CSCS – essential
* First Aid – preferred
* Substation experience – advantageous
* NG Persons - advantageous
