The Development
The site in the beautiful West Sussex countryside includes a range of private sales and housing association plots built to the highest NHBC standards. The project offers a mixture of house types and styles providing an exciting opportunity to manage multiple phases and showcase your technical and leadership skills with an already established team.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely on time, within budget and to 5* quality standards. You'll lead and motivate the site team and subcontractors and take charge of the development featuring timber frame and traditional builds and play a key part in building homes you'll be proud to handover.
Responsibilities for Site Manager
Take full ownership of the day-to-day site operations to ensure the project is delivered safely and to the highest quality standards
Coordinate and manage all on site activities, including subcontractors, labour and materials
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Monitor progress against the build programme and address any delays or issues proactively
Conduct regular site meetings and briefings with site teams and contractors
Manage and motive onsite staff
Maintain accurate site records
Support assistant/site team members in their professional development
Requirements for Site Manager
We're seeking an accomplished Site Manager with a strong background in new build residential construction and successfully driven teams to exceed targets and deliver quality homes with outstanding customer satisfaction.
Previous experience working as a Site Manager working on large multi phased developments, ideally from a PLC background
Strong background in working on Timberframe or Traditional build plots
Ability to handle pressure and hit internal targets
CSCS, 1st Aid and SMSTS
Detailed knowledge of building processes including NHBC and Building Regulations
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
