I am recruiting for a suitably experienced Zendesk Developer who is available to start 7th April 2026.
* This is a fully remote full time role
* 7th April through to 31st July (approx. 4 months)
* 3-5 years Zendesk Developer experience

Contract Length: approx. 4 months
Location: Fully Remote (UK Based)
Day Rate: £350.00 Day rate - Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities
* Configure Zendesk Support, Guide, Chat, and Explore to create tailored ticketing systems and workflows, including triggers, automations, and macro setups.
* Build custom Zendesk Apps using the Zendesk Apps Framework (ZAF) and API to extend native platform capabilities.
* Develop API integrations between Zendesk and third-party systems such as Salesforce, Jira, Slack, or middleware platforms like Zapier/Tray.io.
* Analyse support processes and create automated, scalable solutions to enhance ticket routing, data handling, and agent productivity.
* Document technical configurations, debug issues, and manage deployments within an SDLC framework.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Experience: 3-5+ years in a Zendesk Administrator or Developer role
Preferred Qualifications
* Zendesk Administrator or Developer certifications.
* Experience with Zendesk Integration Services (ZIS) and AWS (Lambda).
* Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
