Senior PHP Developer (Laravel)
Swindon (Hybrid - 3 days per-week)
£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Progression + Pension
An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced PHP Developer to join a growing, technology-first B2B business. This role offers strong technical variety, and clear progression opportunities to progress into a team or technical leadership role.
This company is an established but expanding B2B business, with technology as its key differentiator they're looking to further grow and diversify their SaaS solutions offering.
In this role, you'll take ownership of both new and existing systems, including maintaining legacy code where required. You'll be hands-on across Laravel applications, APIs, and third-party integrations, working as part of a multidisciplinary team as the platform grows. As a smaller but scaling business, you'll have real influence over the product, codebase, and technical direction long term. This role is hybrid based 3 days per week in the Swindon office.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Laravel and PHP across the full stack. The right person will have full-stack development experience, strong databased experience (SQL) and preferably cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP). This role suits an experienced developer looking for a role where they can transition to a Lead Developer position in the short to medium term.

The Role:
*Take ownership of new and existing systems, including legacy code, with responsibility for how they evolve
*Lead the hands-on development of a growing software suite across Laravel, APIs, and third-party integrations
*Contribute to and shape technical decisions around product direction, scalability, and architecture
*Hybrid role based in Swindon, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office
The Person:
*Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel, comfortable owning and improving existing systems
*Full-stack developer with solid SQL/database experience; cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial
*Looking for a senior role with real ownership and a clear path into Lead Developer responsibility
*Based within commutable distance of Swindon with full UK right to work
