We are seeking to appoint three dynamic and dedicated Band 5 RGN/ODP who would like to further their professional development and work full or part time in our Main Theatres Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU).
We are looking for self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills who thrive in a well-supported clinical environment, that aims for excellency of care under our Trust values and vision.
We offer support for CPD through a range of courses, study days and online learning.
Main duties of the job
Staff Nurse - Nightingale Theatres Recovery
After a period of training, providing skilled support to the clinical team, ensuring necessary / appropriate equipment is
available for treatment needs of the patients and reporting any faults or issues appropriately.
Skills to work recognise the deteriorating patient, practice within own competence and be keen to learn new skills.
Mentoring junior members of staff and students once competent
Supporting junior colleagues within recovery and the multidisciplinary team as necessary.
