TD Recruitment are working with a well-established construction contractor who is seeking an experienced Site Manager to work on projects across County Durham and the wider Northeast.
Duties:
* Day-to-day management of site operations and workforce
* Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and materials
* Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and site compliance
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections
* Manage quality control and ensure works are completed to specification
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on UK construction or civils projects
* Strong background managing day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
* SMSTS – essential
* CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred)
* First Aid at Work
* Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations, RAMS, and site compliance
* Ability to manage programmes, coordinate trades, and drive productivity on site
* Experience delivering projects on time and to specification
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Reliable work history with good references from UK contractors
* Full UK driving licence (preferred due to site locations)
