Our client based in Walsall are recruiting for a Quality Manager due to the retirement of the existing Manager. The role involves managing a quality team (four staff), lab testing facility, and all associated quality issues for a company with just over 100 staff in total. The company provides a high level powder coating facility for its clients that has been established for over 60 years. (You do not need to have specifically a powder coating background). Reporting directly to the Managing Director other duties will include liasing with clients, visiting clients, and the general overseeing of all related quality issues. The right candidate must have worked in a similar role within either a manufacturing facility or a service lead engineering company and have experience of quality systems ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. The existing Quality Manager will be on hand to help train and on board the new Quality Manager over an extended time and any additional training can be provided through our industry training provider. Working hours are somewhat flexible but this is a day shift position and a 40hr week so a start time of 6am-8am is prefereable. To apply please submit your CV
