Description Canon UK is recruiting Inside Sales Executives to join a brand-new Information Management Solutions (IMS) team based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team focused on delivering digital-first customer engagement and sales. As a Digital Sales Executive, you will be responsible for engaging with public sector and commercial prospects and customers to promote Canon’s Information Management solutions. You will work in a fast-paced, desk-based environment using digital tools to connect with prospects, deliver product demonstrations, and convert leads into sales. Responsibilities Sales Execution Conduct outbound IMS campaigns to generate leads and opportunities Qualify prospects and manage pipeline through Salesforce CRM Achieve individual KPIs including lead conversion and revenue targets Customer Engagement Develop an expert understanding of Canon’s IMS Portfolio and deliver tailored product/service demonstrations via Microsoft Teams as part of the sales cycle Understand customer challenges and delivered tailored responses around our IMS portfolio Respond to customer queries with professionalism and speed Be inquisitive to seek out customer business automation needs and create compelling reason for change business cases Build strong relationships through consistent digital communication CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate records in Salesforce Use dashboards to track personal performance and pipeline health Collaboration & Learning Participate in team training and coaching sessions Share insights and feedback to improve team processes and customer experience Qualifications Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Able to work and to develop within a rapidly changing market and technological environment Able to keep abreast of industry and competitor information Proven success in a sales or customer-facing role selling to new and existing customers Exceptional sales & negotiation skills Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Salesforce) Self-motivated and target-driven Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment Experience in a fast-paced Business to Business selling environment Ideally having previously experience of selling software IT & Business process owners High energy, ambitious, resilient, and driven - with a desire to work in a high performing team and a focus on personal KPI’s and results Canon Core Behaviours • Drive for results • Focus on the Customer • Take ownership and accountability • Act as a team player • Shows courage and conviction • People orientated • Caring for self and others Pay – base salary £27,177 – commission (with accelerators) min £6,000 (commission paid in first three months) Bonus & Commission – we provide an encouraging bonus & commission scheme that rewards you as you help us achieve our goals.
