Senior Sales Executive, Cloud, Data & Modernisation Consultancy (New Logo Hunter) – Fully remote, UK only.
A high‑performing technology consultancy is seeking a Senior Sales Executive with a circa 5 years experience in sales to drive new‑logo revenue across mid‑market and enterprise customers. This organisation specialises in outcome‑based cloud, data, and DevSecOps transformation, delivered by highly credible engineering teams. They are not a reseller, a body-shop, or a vendor-led partner, they deliver high‑quality, expert-led consultancy engagements.
This is an ideal role for a hunter‑minded enterprise seller who excels in complex professional services sales. Candidates with a background in contract recruitment who have transitioned into selling consultancy services, or who have the DNA to do so are encouraged to apply.
Overview
The successful candidate will own the full sales cycle, generate pipeline independently, and close strategic transformation deals. Partner ecosystems (AWS, Azure, channel partners) are an important route-to-market, but this is not a partner-dependent role, deal ownership is key.
You will be selling modernisation, engineering excellence, and technical outcomes, not commoditised resources.
Key Responsibilities
New-Logo Ownership
* Full sales cycle ownership: prospecting → qualification → proposal → close
* Selling complex, consultative outcomes rather than simple cloud lift-and-shift
* Confident engagement with C‑level (CTO, CIO, CISO, Heads of Engineering)
* Strong deal discipline and accurate forecasting
Partner & Channel Engagement
* Leverage hyperscalers and channel partners to originate and accelerate deals
* Execute co-sell motions effectively
* Maintain clear ownership of the deal throughout
Commercial & Delivery Alignment
* Collaborate with technical leadership to shape viable solutions
* Ensure commercial soundness and clean handover into delivery
Experience & Skills Required
Essential
* Proven experience selling professional services / consultancy (not products or licences)
* Strong hunter profile with demonstrable self-generated pipeline
* Experience selling cloud, data, DevSecOps, or adjacent technical services
* Commercially strong, able to articulate ROI and TCO at senior levels
Desirable
* Existing relationships within hyperscaler and/or IT channel ecosystems
* Co-sell experience and understanding of partner incentive models
* Contract recruiter background (advantageous).
