The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Promoting and selling clean and wastewater pumps, chemical dosing systems, and hygienic pumping solutions.
* Conducting pump selections and specifying equipment in line with customer requirements.
* Managing the complete sales process, from initial site survey and technical specification through to supplier liaison, order placement, and attendance at installation (where required)
* Responding effectively to urgent breakdown situations, including equipment identification, selection of suitable replacements, and coordination of logistics to ensure minimal downtime.
* Operating from the Wallingford office with some UK-wide travel for site visits and customer meetings.
* Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in building services, water treatment, chemical processing, and general industry.
* Engaging in ongoing technical training to maintain strong product knowledge and industry awareness.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Demonstrate proven sales experience within HVAC, water treatment, industrial, engineering, or chemical environments.
* Be comfortable travelling nationwide – a valid driving license is essential
* Exhibit strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
* Fluent in pump selection
* Demonstrated skills within Microsoft Word, Excel and Sage Packages
* Be proactive, ambitious, prompt and focused on delivering high‑quality solutions.
* Preferably be based in or near Oxfordshire.
