The Role
The Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership delivers countryside and urban green pace projects and as well wider land management services for local authority and parish partners and contractually for several other organisations.
We are looking for someone to lead this awarding winning team in the development and implementation of projects that will enhance and improve the local environment centred on the River Blackwater, on the Hampshire / Surrey border.
What you’ll do
The role involves working with local authority partners, other organisations and site-based groups to identify and prioritise potential projects; ensuring these are delivered by securing resources and overseeing the selection of contractors or staff and volunteers to do so.
A key element of the role will be to coordinate projects programme and report to partner organisations, together with overseeing the financial management of the Partnership.
What we’re looking for
We need someone with strong experience in land-based project management, partnership working, and budgeting. Excellent communication, team leadership, and organisational skills are essential. You must be able to travel across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, hold a valid driving licence, and have regular access to a reliable vehicle.
