The role:
To operate the catering facility at one of our main campuses, ensuring the production of great quality food, in high volumes and to a high standard. The role is responsible for ordering, menu planning, cooking, cleaning, and till operation.

Key Responsibilities:
8. Prepare and cook the food to a high standard
9. Deliver exceptional customer service
10. Provide buffets/hospitality when ordered
11. Complete all relevant food safety paperwork
12. Review and contribute to menu creation.
13. Ensure all allergen information is supplied and correct
14. Monitoring food production, quality, quantities and portion control
15. Provide a team briefing daily
16. Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment to a Level 5 Food Safety rating, ensuring all cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard and report any issues promptly
17. Ordering and receiving food and non-food items from our suppliers
18. Cash handling
19. Deputise in the absence of the Manager
About you:
20. NVQ level 2 in Food Preparation, or equivalent qualification
21. Previous experience of cooking or assisting in a catering kitchen environment
22. Ability to work efficiently and under pressure.
23. Excellent standards of food hygiene
