* You'll carefully balance the needs for this role to work both in and on the business. You'll roll up your sleeves to support the team when needed, but also recognise that your success won't be born from spending long in the weeds

* You'll be adopting an outside-in perspective, keeping an eagle eye on the external employment landscape (broader than just ER), and ensuring we continue to develop and launch progressive products and policies that differentiate us as an employer of choice
Organisational Development
* Lead performance management and talent development strategies.
* Increase management capability and confidence across the Clubs, ensuring that our people leaders have the tools and resources to be effective culture carriers.
* Work alongside the Learning & Development team to implement training programmes that align with our organisational priorities and build capability at all levels.
* Support change management initiatives and projects that create new cultural norms across the Clubs.

* Collaborate on and roll out initiatives that strengthen engagement, morale, and alignment with our values.
Internal Communications & Engagement

* • Design and deliver engagement initiatives that enhance culture, well-being, and employee satisfaction.
* • Lead and implement our listening strategy by facilitating regular feedback mechanisms such as engagement surveys and focus groups
The kind of person we are looking for:
* Proven senior HR/People leadership experience.
* We are fast paced, evolving, and growing business. With growth and modernisation comes rapid change, and to thrive here, you must find your energy in solving problems in an everevolving and ambiguous environment, whilst never losing sight of the end goal.
* You understand where policy ends, and judgment and intuition start. You understand the importance of creating a great employee experience, even when we're sharing bad news.
* With strong analytical skills, you're able to extract meaningful insight from data, convey it with clarity, and ensure it informs priorities and action
* Knowledge of UK employment law, with a pragmatic and people-first approach.
* A great team player: you want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and above all has fun along the way. You share information and understand that we succeed or fail as a team.
* CIPD Level 7 qualified and Organisational Development experience desirable
