An international company in Oxfordshire is looking for an HR Administrator to join their team, supporting all areas of the business. The role is 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Candidates should be able to drive due to the location, which offers plenty of parking.
As an HR Administrator, you will support operational HR activities from the central HR department in Oxford, providing assistance to employees, managers, and the wider HR team. Your role is to ensure all HR transactional activities across the group are accurately managed and completed in a timely manner, delivering excellent customer service.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide general administration support across all HR areas.
* Manage the HR Central inbox, responding promptly to queries.
* Input pension details and coordinate with Finance.
* Administer benefits and monitor absence.
* Coordinate onboarding processes, generate offer letters and contracts, handle references, DBS checks, and right to work documentation.
* Manage leaver processes, including exit questionnaires and interviews.
* Support family leave processes.
* Respond to reference requests.
* Follow up on probationary periods.
* Handle contract variations, including flexible working requests.
* Promote a self-service approach, ensuring key information is available and updated on the HR intranet.
* Design and update HR forms in line with ISO standards.
* Assist in updating policies and procedures according to employment law.
* Review and improve HR processes as needed.
* Support salary review administration.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Minimum:
* Experience in HR administration.
* Knowledge of HR best practices and processes.
* Experience supporting payroll.
* Broad knowledge of HR Information Systems.
* Strong data processing and record-keeping skills.
* Working towards a Level 3 CIPD qualification is desirable.
* Fluent spoken and written English.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
The role is based in Oxford & Thame, with parking and an onsite gym. Working hours are 8 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
