Project: Loughborough STW - Severn Trent Water Scheme
Location: Loughborough
Start Date: End of February
Contract Length: 12 month initial contract
Rate: Upto £400/day (Outside IR35 - Ltd)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong civils background to support the delivery of works on the Loughborough STW project as part of the Severn Trent Water programme. The role will involve managing site operations, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting the successful completion of rising mains and pumping station works.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure works are delivered to programme.
Manage subcontractors and direct labour on site.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company, client, and regulatory standards.
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Monitor progress, quality, and compliance across all site activities.
Liaise with the Project Manager and client representatives.
Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
Experience Required
Strong civils background.
Proven experience working on rising mains and pumping stations.
(Any additional scopes or experience ideal for the project - to be confirmed).
Experience working on water industry schemes (Severn Trent experience advantageous).
