Join an entrepreneurial food business where you can enhance your skills beyond the technical scope, working collaboratively with colleagues in R&D, Commercial, and the wider business.
Early in your career, it’s rare to have the opportunity to be involved across various aspects of a business. The company fosters an inclusive and collaborative culture, emphasizing a one-team approach. You'll contribute to company-wide discussions and work closely with colleagues across different departments.
We’re seeking a self-starter with curiosity and a willingness to learn. You should be unafraid to ask questions and leverage the knowledge of your colleagues. Ideally, you’ll be a graduate in food science or a related field, with at least one year of industry experience. If you don’t hold a graduate qualification, two to three years of relevant experience is preferred.
A significant part of this role involves writing and updating specifications for retailers, suppliers, and packaging. Updating the Quality Management Systems and HACCP documentation is also essential, so attention to detail and accuracy are crucial qualities. Overall, we’re looking for someone eager to learn, who communicates effectively, contributes actively, and enjoys being part of a team.
This entrepreneurial company is part of a larger global group, supplying major UK retailers and foodservice providers. All manufacturing facilities are located overseas. The company is on a growth trajectory, with plans to expand significantly over the next three years.
If you’re looking for a role where you can get involved, enjoy a team-oriented culture, and develop your skills, please send your CV. I will be in touch to share more details.
