Job Title: HR Officer (Level 5 Qualified) Location: Office-based (initial 4 weeks), then up to 2 days WFH Contract: 3-Month to begin with | Monday to Friday, between 8am-6pm Pay: £16.43 - £21 per hour (dependent on experience & qualifications) About the Role We are urgently seeking a Level 5 qualified HR Officer for an initial 3-month assignment. This is a hands-on role requiring someone with current HR experience, particularly in casework management and absence handling. You'll be expected to immediately pick up a caseload (with support) and progress cases in line with internal policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Manage and progress HR casework including: Grievances Disciplinaries Sickness and absence cases Apply up-to-date UK employment law knowledge to all casework. Ensure all actions are compliant with internal policies and employment legislation. Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all cases. Contribute to HR service delivery and continuous improvement. Essential Requirements CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent). Proven experience in HR casework management. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law. Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Working Arrangements Office-based for the first 4 weeks. Up to 2 days per week WFH thereafter, subject to service needs.
