Role Responsibilities of Learning Mentor : Provide one-to-one and small-group mentoring to support students’ learning and personal development. Implement tailored strategies to address academic, social, or emotional challenges. Build trust and rapport with students to promote engagement, motivation, and resilience. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure consistent support. Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all learners. What You’ll Bring as a Learning Mentor : Previous experience supporting children or young people in educational or mentoring settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Patience, empathy, and a solution-focused approach. Commitment to supporting students’ personal and academic growth. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
