About the role
As a Sales Executivefor RXGlobal’sEnergy & Marine portfolio, you are at the forefront of driving business sales and creating meaningful connections with our customers. Your mission is to understand their unique needs and challenges and provide tailored solutions that deliver exceptional value. With a focus on value-based selling, we are instrumental in helping our customers achieve their businessobjectivesthrough our world-class events and market-leading digital tools. You will become a trusted advisor to your clients, sharingexpertiseand insight that will bring RX closer to the customer decision-making process.
Responsibilities
1. Drive commercial growth by building strong, long-term client relationships and understanding their business needs.
2. Sell exhibition space and related products (digital solutions, sponsorship, branding) to new and existing clients through consultative selling.
3. Identifyandacquirenew business opportunities by attending industry and competitor events andleveragingnetworks.
4. Use data and insights to inform decisions, optimise customer value, and increase revenue.
5. Act as a trusted advisor, providing industry best practices and strategic guidance to clients.
6. Collaborate effectively across teams (sales, marketing, operations, finance) to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
7. Maintainaccuraterecords in CRM systems, ensuring robust pipelines and reliable reporting.
8. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to position the company as a market leader.
Requirements
9. Proven ability to build andmaintainstrong client relationships in a B2B environment.
10. Experience in consultative sales, ideally within exhibitions, media, or related industries.
11. Knowledge of the Energy and Marine sectors is desirable but not essential.
12. Strong communicationand presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients in person and digitally.
13. Highly organised, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
14. Comfortable using CRM tools (., Salesforce) andleveragingdata for decision-making.
15. Collaborative team player with adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
16. Growth mindset with a willingness to learn, take calculated risks, and embrace feedback.
