Overview
Senior Site Manager - Chelmsford. Salary £60,000 - £70,000 Basic + progression, travel expenses, accommodation expenses, training and development, overtime, pension, annual leave and other benefits. An exceptional opportunity to join a well-established main contractor with a clear pathway to Project Manager within the next few years. This role delivers projects across multiple sectors with values from £10 million upwards and provides a path for career progression.
Responsibilities
* Travelling and staying away on sites for projects across London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk
* Managing teams of subcontractors to ensure projects run to programme and time scales on commercial projects
* Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date, health and safety, and working closely with the commercial team
Requirements
* Strong experience working on large-scale commercial projects with values around £10 million
* Relevant construction qualifications
* Driving licence and able to travel to sites as required, including staying away
