Upwork Job Description – Two Truths Podcast Editor
Title: Ongoing Podcast Video Editor (5-Camera Setup, DaVinci Resolve Preferred)
Overview:
I'm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to handle weekly post-production for a sports podcast called Two Truths.
This is a long-term, ongoing role for the right person.
Each episode is ~60–80 minutes and is shot with:
• 5 camera angles (Sony cameras)
• External audio (recorded separately)
• 4K footage
• DaVinci Resolve workflow preferred
What I Need:
1. Sync & Multi-Cam Edit
Sync 5 cameras to external audio
Build clean multicam timeline
Cut between speakers naturally (no random switching)
Maintain strong pacing and energy
2. Clean Audio
Use external master audio track
Light compression / leveling
Remove obvious background noise if needed
3. Light Color Correction
Match cameras
Basic correction (no heavy cinematic grade needed)
4. Deliverables
Full YouTube version (4K export settings I provide)
Audio-only version for Spotify
2–4 short vertical clips per episode (30–60 seconds)
Ideal Editor:
Experienced with multi-camera podcasts
Comfortable in DaVinci Resolve (preferred)
Understands sports / culture pacing
Organized with file management
Fast turnaround (3–5 days after footage delivery)
Communicates clearly
Volume:
1 episode per week (consistent)
Potential for expanded role if workflow is smooth.
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
