Location: Cambridge, CB1. Position: Welfare Cleaner. Type: Full‑time. Salary: £13.69 – £16.14 per hour (competitive, depending on experience).
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Welfare Cleaner to join our team on a construction site in Cambridge. As a Welfare Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that welfare facilities such as toilets, rest areas, and kitchens are kept clean, hygienic, and presentable for the workers. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and maintain site welfare facilities including toilets, kitchens, and break areas.
* Ensure all facilities are well‑stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper, towels).
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
* Conduct regular cleaning and hygiene checks.
* Report any issues regarding site welfare facilities to the site supervisor.
* Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a construction or industrial setting.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards.
* CSCS Card.
