This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check. * To be responsible for assisting the senior chef with the day-to-day preparation and cooking of meals for the elderly residents within your team. To include modified textured, diets.
* Support other experienced kitchen staff.
* Liaise with suppliers to order and receive goods.
* Responsible for ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.
Working 15 hours per week to include, alternate weekends. Working between 8am - 6pm.

* Previous experience within a kitchen/catering environment.
* Relevant qualifications within Food Hygiene.
* Possess the understanding of the importance of treating each resident's request as paramount.
