Expert are working in partnership with this Eglinton based Client to recruit a HR Manager on a full time, permanent basis, reporting directly to the HR Director. THE ROLE: You will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of company policies and procedures to ensure practices remain compliant with relevant employment law. You will be responsible to lead and support company line management through various departmental processes e.g. Recruitment, Performance review, Absence management and Disciplinary matters. Position: Hr. Manager Reporting to: Hr. Director / Directors Responsibilities (not limited to) Resource Planning and Management of the recruitment process, including assisting Line Managers with the selection process and support at the interview if required. Preparing and ensuring issue of all new employee documentation e.g. Letters of Offer and ensuring all new start documentation is present including reference & eligibility checks where applicable. Ensuring Right to Work documentation is updated and monitored. Oversee the new Employee Onboarding process e.g. H&S induction etc. Liaising with HR Director and payroll department to ensure that all documentation for employees relating to contractual change, internal transfers, including Job Title and Salary Changes, are correct and adhere to current legislation and Company policies. Preparation and monitoring of any formal letters e.g. disciplinary and grievance matters. Lead and Manage absence in line with the Absence Policy and address any issues accordingly. Manage and maintain our on-line HR system on a daily basis to develop reporting mechanisms and provide analysis that support strategic people management in the company. Provide Training, Guidance and Administrative support to your team and Line Managers in relation to employee relation meetings e.g. reviews, absence, performance, grievances etc. Monitor and ensure probationary reviews are completed by Line Management; issue probationary letters and employment contracts; oversee PDP and ensure completion of any training plans. Promote good employer-employee relations and high level of staff morale and motivation by addressing any employee issues and conducting investigations if any areas of concern are raised or highlighted. Monitor and review all Company HR Policies, Programs and Practices and keep management informed of any developments and ensure employment law compliance. Ensure that any staff queries on policies or procedures are addressed. Liaise with Company Directors to discuss the development or implementation of departmental goals, objectives and support their successful implementation e.g. Bonus scheme, training programs etc. Provide relevant MI reports and provide HR metrics to the Board when required e.g. Departmental staff cost, training and recruitment costs. Talent management including coordinating training programs or succession planning for key roles in the future. Assisting with payroll and processing of Payroll if necessary General daily administration duties e.g. filing, scanning and photocopying Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a managerial HR role, ideally within a fast-paced business. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills. Strong understanding of NI and UK employment law and HR best practice. CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience preferred. Personal Attributes: Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially minded.
