We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher who will be prepared to make a significant contribution to the Design Technology Department, both within and beyond the classroom. The successful applicant will be able to deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Design Technology and Food, inspiring students to develop practical skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of healthy eating, nutrition, and design processes.
Key Criteria
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Ability to teach Food Preparation & Nutrition and Design Technology effectively
· Strong classroom management skills.
· Good understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene requirements.
· Experience teaching across multiple key stages, including GCSE or equivalent.
· Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).
· Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
