YOUR ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Akana API Management Specialist to design, implement, and maintain API solutions using the Akana platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API lifecycle management, security, and integration with enterprise systems.
YOUR PROFILE
1. Strong proficiency in Core Java programming with at least 5+ years of hands-on development experience
2. We are seeking an experienced Akana API Management Specialist to design, implement, and maintain API solutions using the Akana platform.
3. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API lifecycle management, security, and integration with enterprise systems.
4. Create and manage APIs using Akana API Management platform.
5. Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
6. Solid understanding of ORM frameworks, particularly Hibernate
7. Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
8. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools, specifically GitLab CI
9. Demonstrated experience in production support environments, including L3 support and troubleshooting production issues
10. Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems in live environments
11. Experience with version control systems (Git)
12. Experience with AI-powered coding tools such as GitLab Duo, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding assistants
13. Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
14. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
15. Understanding of agile development methodologies
16. Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
17. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring and Hibernate
18. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
19. Optimize application performance and scalability
20. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as part of L3 support rotation
21. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
22. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
23. Ensure code quality, reliability, and security through best practices
