About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead high-profile refurbishment projects across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. The successful candidate will oversee the restoration and renovation of listed and heritage buildings, ensuring works are delivered to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring excellent knowledge of heritage construction methods, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate specialist trades.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
• Oversee refurbishment and conservation works on listed and heritage buildings
• Coordinate subcontractors, specialist trades, and in-house teams
• Liaise with architects, conservation officers, and heritage consultants
• Drive programme delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved
• Implement and monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
• Report progress to senior management and clients
• Problem-solve on site to maintain project momentum

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager in construction
• Demonstrable background in refurbishment of listed / heritage buildings
• Strong knowledge of traditional building methods and conservation practices
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including heritage bodies and local authorities
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold Card), First Aid certification (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
