Job Description
3. Lead and manage the full HR function across the organisation
4. Oversee the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding
5. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters
6. Develop and maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with UK employment law
7. Coordinate payroll preparation and liaise with external payroll providers
8. Manage employee benefits, wellbeing initiatives and engagement activities
9. Identify training needs and support learning and development programmes
10. Maintain HR records, systems and produce HR reports for leadership
11. Support senior leadership with people-related decision making and HR best practice
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Manager should have:
12. Strong generalist HR knowledge with a solid understanding of UK employment law
13. Proven ability to manage employee relations issues confidently and pragmatically
14. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
15. A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work independently
16. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
17. Empathetic and people-focused, with a genuine interest in employee wellbeing and engagement
18. Ability to influence and support managers in making effective people decisions
19. Professional discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
