An established and reputable construction contractor with a strong regional presence is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join their expanding team in Manchester. With a secured pipeline of work in the local area spanning the next four years, this role offers stability and the chance to contribute to a variety of interesting projects.\n\nThe initial project will be a 14-month refurbishment of an education facility located in Manchester due to soft launch in June.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOverseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.\nManaging and coordinating site teams, including direct labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.\nEnsuring adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures.\nMaintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.\nLiaising effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the project management team.\nProactively identifying and resolving any site-related issues.\nEnsuring the quality of workmanship meets the required standards. \n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Possess:\n\nProven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a strong track record in delivering similar new build or refurbishment projects.\nA thorough understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nThe ability to manage and motivate site teams effectively.\nStrong organisational and time management skills.\nRelevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS).\nA proactive and results-oriented approach. \n\nBenefits:\n\nBase salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).\nCar allowance of £4,500 per annum.\n3% employer's pension contribution.\n33 days annual leave \nPrivate Bupa healthcare.\nOpportunity to work on a secure pipeline of local projects.\nIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager looking for a rewarding opportunity with a well-respected contractor in Manchester, we encourage you to apply\n\nLinsco is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
