Job Description
Assist in the daily preparation of food for various meal plans at establishments across East Ayrshire. Support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council’s key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
This role involves Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a PVG Scheme member or update their existing membership before employment can be confirmed. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed prior to employment.

The Individual
This temporary part-time position is based at Nether Robertland Primary School, Stewarton. The working hours are 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:15 am to 2:30 pm, including a 15-minute unpaid break. The salary ranges from £20,856 to £21,731 annually. The contract is valid until 30th April 2026 and is term-time only.
