Fuels & Low Carbon Technology (F&LCT) is a diverse team of over 300 technologists, scientists, and engineers driving innovation to support bps Fuels, Refining, Bioenergy, and Hydrogen businesses. We also back the Technology group through Innovation Management, Modelling, Digital Science, and academic research. Within F&LCT, the Refining and Advanced Fuels Technology (R&AFT) team of 120+ professionals collaborate closely with business units to ensure fuel quality throughout the entire supply chainfrom refineries and third-party suppliers to customers and product lines. As the fuel landscape evolves towards the energy transition, we develop differentiated fuel products, including an increasing portfolio of bio-based fuels, and lead technical programs to safely integrate renewable feedstocks into refinery operations.

In this role, you will lead a team of Aviation Fuel Technologists overseeing Product Quality (PQ) and Research & Development efforts covering conventional and low carbon renewable aviation fuels.
