Belong Morris Feinmann Didsbury Village provides a ‘home for life’, supporting people on their journey with a range of services from home care, through our thirteen independent living apartments to 24-hour care for our seventy-two residents in specialist households, including nursing and dementia support. Belong are a not-for-profit, Values based organisation in the North West with seven villages delivering high quality care.

As the Bistro and Catering Manager you will be:
* Commercially astute with the ability to maximise financial performance and manage budgets
* Compassionate, with the expertise to recruit, coach and lead a skilled catering team and work with our Household teams to provide homemade nutrition meals
* Customer focussed, working with the team to exceed expectations
* Experienced in creating menus for a wide range of diets and ages

Requirements
* Be a visible and positive role model; providing leadership and line management to the village catering team, ensuring an excellent kosher catering service is delivered
* Ensure that Belong catering services meet the expectations, nutritional and cultural requirements of our customers
* Be focused on providing fresh, healthy, nutritious and homelike foods
* Maximise financial performance within budgetary requirements
* Support the Kosher catering services for all Belong villages and provide guidance on kosher food purchasing
* Meet the requirements of the Kashrut licence/standards
* Alcohol licence holder for the village
* Deliver Jewish food to customers ensuring quality, efficiency and high level of personal service
* Provide a vibrant community and support for all cultural and religious festivals
* Work in accordance with Belong standards and values; ensuring a culture and environment where people feel supported and valued
