Job Title: Document Control Manager - Offshore Wind Farm
Contract Lengt h: 12 months (extensions likely)
Locatio n: Offshore Wind Farm (Scotland)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of 8 document controllers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Develop and implement document control processes and procedures to ensure efficient management of project documentation throughout its lifecycle.
Oversee the organization, distribution, and maintenance of all project documents, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, reports, and correspondence.
Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document control support.
Monitor and enforce document control standards and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Implement document control software or systems as needed, and provide training to team members on their use.
Continuously assess and improve document control processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Serve as the primary point of contact for document control-related queries, issues, and escalations.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration)
Proven experience in document control management, preferably in the renewable energy or construction i
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
In-depth knowledge of document control principles, practices, and standards.
Proficiency in document control software or systems (Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stake holders.
