Role: Handyman
Location: Slough
Hourly Rate: £21 per hour
MJM Industrial are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman to work in Slough to carry out general works, painting and decorating and maintenance works for a period of 2-3 weeks. Must have IPAF ticket.
The ideal candidate will have experience with a mixture of basic carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, and decorating, and hold a CSCS Card & IPAF ticket.
The role will involve working a mixture of days and weekends.
HANDYMAN RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful Handyman's duties will vary depending on the project/s we are running at the time but will include but won’t be limited to;
* Undertaking all building fabric activities such as patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting and decorating all to the highest level of service for the client.
* You will be required to answer queries, report any defects, and keep the client informed of site activities at the time of the service visit.
* You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
* Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner
* Repairs floor and wall coverings
* Responsible for ceiling tile repairs and replacements
* Responsible for other building and installation works as required.
HANDYMAN BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
It is essential you meet the following criteria to be successful when applying for this Handyman Role:
* Experience working a within a Multi-trader/ Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
* Carpentry experiences desirable but not essential
* CSCS Card
* IPAF ticket
* Happy to work a mixture of days, nights, and weekends.
