Responsibilities
* Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
* Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
* Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
* Implementation of effective unit testing to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Analyst Expectations
* Meet the needs of stakeholders/customers through operational excellence and customer service.
* Perform prescribed activities in a timely and high-standard manner.
* No people leadership roles at this grade.
* Execute work requirements as identified in processes, collaborating with and impacting the work of team members.
* Identify escalation of policy breaches as required.
* Take responsibility for customer service and operational execution tasks.
* Own risk management and strengthen controls related to own work, delivering in line with rules, regulations and codes of conduct.
* Understand role and team integration to achieve objectives, and awareness of other teams’ work within the function.
* Work within defined procedures and demonstrate understanding of procedures.
* Evaluate and select appropriate options from defined choices; make judgments based on facts.
* Build relationships with stakeholders and customers to address needs and support smooth operations.
Eligibility and Qualifications
* Minimum of 104 points at A2 (grades BCC) or an equivalent, e.g. BTEC DMM and GCSE Mathematics and English Language (grade A*-C / 9-4) or equivalent.
* Commitment and enthusiasm; readiness to work hard, push yourself, and think differently. You’ll be supported by a global bank and will have expectations to perform.
