Location: Plymouth - Devonport Royal Dockyard
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks. Eligibility criteria: Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.

Were looking for an experienced QA Manager to join our collaborative team and help ensure excellence in everything we deliver. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a unique and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining our Quality Assurance management system in line with company policies and industry standards such as ISO 9001
* Leading and supporting the QA team, including training, performance management, and resource planning
* Overseeing internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance and timely corrective actions
* Collaborating with production, engineering, procurement, and other departments to embed quality processes
* Analysing quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
* Hold a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Quality, or Construction (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng)
* Proven experience as a QA Manager or similar role and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor trained
* Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies including ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or Lean
* Experience managing teams and driving quality improvement initiatives
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
