Due to internal promotion we are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a leading plastics manufacturer supplying the automotive industry based in Milton Keynes. Salary circa £54k per annum plus excellent benefits! As Quality Manager you will report into the Site Manager with responsibility of leading and maintaining the quality management of the Milton Keynes site. You will ensure that the site maintains the requirements for the appropriate quality certifications and that customer concerns and site quality issues are resolved effectively and efficiently. Ensure site compliance with IATF16949 and ISO9001 standards; organize and conduct internal and external site audits Co-ordinate site response to customer quality and application complaints, including direct liaison with other company sites Co-ordinate site raw material quality concerns, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and efficient way Support Physical Testing and Finish Product Releasing Maintain site control plans and process FMEAs Conduct annual site management review Manage the site calibrations system to ensure all equipment is maintained within the appropriate calibration regime Manage blocked stocks to ensure that they are assessed for opportunities to rework wherever possible and sell to trader when this is not feasible Provide accurate and timely reports to Site Management team relating to product, quality and performance issues Represent MK plant at regular corporate quality meetings We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience: Previous experience of quality assurance in a Quality Manager role or similar Previous experience in plastics industry preferred Science Degree or HNC or equivalent Internal IATF auditor qualified Fluent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experienced in SAP, or a similar package, would be an advantage Fluent in English – verbal and written Benefits Include: Annual Bonus at 6% 25 days Annual Leave plus bank holidays Contributory Salary Sacrifice Pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 10% matching double employee contributions Group Life & Income Protection insurances Health Cash Plan Cycle to Work Scheme Please apply today or call us to discuss this Quality Manager role in more detail!
