Catering Manager - Reading
Up to £38,000 per annum (DOE)
Monday - Friday role! 40 hours per week
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join our team in Reading. You will be providing outstanding service to staff and customers while guiding and motivating your team to excel. As the Catering Manager, you need to be commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence daily operations, maximize team performance, lead by example, and set high standards.

You will focus on increasing sales and delivering excellent service. Building strong relationships with clients to meet their needs and contractual requirements is essential.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
2. Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights clients and customers
3. Maintaining cleanliness standards of the kitchen and front-of-house environment
4. Ensuring proper use of all kitchen machinery and equipment
5. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
6. Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
7. Completing weekly reports and bookkeeping
8. Stock taking and ordering
Services include: Breakfast, Lunch, Hospitality, Coffee Shop, and Retail.
About you:
* Excellent culinary skills with experience in contract catering within a business and industry environment
* Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of engaging and motivating others
* Experience managing client relationships
* Results-oriented with a focus on quality and processes
* IT literate (MS Office and email)
* Business management experience within a kitchen environment
