Overview
V7 Recruitment is seeking experienced Fire Doors Site Managers to join an industry-leading client on a temp-to-perm, day-rate basis. This role is based across London, South London, and Southeast London, delivering works on social housing projects. It offers the opportunity to work on high-profile schemes while progressing into a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities
* Quality & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all fire door installations and related works are carried out to the highest industry standards (including BM TRADA requirements). Conduct timely inspections of works in progress and completed tasks. Accurately input and maintain project data within Simpro.
* Site Management: Oversee full site setup and final sign-off. Manage stock, deliveries, and site welfare provisions. Carry out pre-condition surveys before works commence. Conduct post-installation inspections, supporting final project approval by the Project Manager. Identify opportunities for variations and report them promptly. Supervise trades and subcontractors, resolving daily site issues and maintaining a positive working environment. Proactively manage resources to ensure maximum efficiency. Deliver training on Simpro and ensure all site staff are fully briefed.
* Client Engagement: Attend pre-start meetings and act as the main point of contact on site. Maintain a professional, safe, and well-presented working environment. Provide clear communication to residents and stakeholders, explaining the scope of works. Submit weekly progress reports and attend client calls as required.
