HR Manager – Health & Social Care Sector Loughborough | Hybrid Working Full-time | Permanent Up to £46,000 per year Monday to Friday Join a passionate and dedicated team supporting recruitment and HR across vital care services, including Complex Care, Supported Living, and Children's Residential Homes. We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to support and drive recruitment across multiple care settings. You'll play a key role in helping us meet our monthly hiring goals—8 hires in complex care, 4 in children’s services, and 2 in care homes, totaling approximately 14 new permanent hires each month. What You'll Be Doing: Drive end-to-end recruitment efforts across various care environments, ensuring timely and effective hiring. Provide expert guidance on HR matters, including absence management, disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance issues. Partner with Home Managers to address and resolve conduct and capability concerns. Oversee long-term absence cases and manage occupational health referrals to support staff wellbeing. Lead disciplinary processes, including preparation, documentation, and chairing of hearings. Support employee engagement initiatives, contributing to internal communications and coordinating staff onboarding. Maintain oversight of the HR inbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses to queries. Participate in regular HR meetings, offering strategic input and operational support across the organisation. What We’re Looking For: Solid experience in HR, particularly in healthcare or care settings. Proven track record in recruiting nurses and care workers. Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. CIPD qualification (or working towards it). Confident managing a high-volume recruitment pipeline and employee relations. Based in or willing to travel to one of the following counties: Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Leicestershire. Hybrid work flexibility (office-based with performance-based flexibility).
